http://xrl.us/1935GypsyTourBadge("Gypsy tour" is an American motorcycling term which originated before the 1920s; the term has been mostly but not entirely replaced by rally or run. Gypsy tours were organized where groups of riders all over the country converged on a favorite destination. The term gypsy was used because the riders would travel long distances and often sleeping in tents around a campfire along the way much like the Hollywood stereotype gypsies.)
Seller's description:
This old collectors item is in pretty good condition for the age. The Gypsy Tour, and the year 1935, are easily recognizable, as well as the AAA inset enameled logo. I wiped the city and state to uncover and decipher Hackensack , NJ, for those interested; The name appears JII**WN, with the asterisks denoting where I can't even wager a guess. It is beveled/convexed, to bolt onto the scooter itself (three holes). It is about 2 1/4" along the three sides. It has a very slight bend you could mend if you wanted to mount it. Historical motorcycle memoribilia is quite rare in this good condition, Christmas is coming.
