Unusual vehicle (bus? limo?) from the Westwood Trans. Co.

Hackensack and Westwood? Is this a forerunner of the 165 bus that couldn't go to NYC because the Lincoln Tunnel wasn't built yet?

 I read once that the trolley line that ran up Main Street to Route 4 was the forerunner of the 165 bus.
