Photos: The Sun, The Moon, and The Fog at 6AM
« on: June 18, 2011, 01:54:08 PM »
Some metal-on-metal truck noise woke me up at 5:40am.

Great.............4 hours of sleep for the second night in a row.

As I looked out the window to find the offender so I could throw something at him (long gone), I saw some fog and noticed that the sun was way over in a place I usually don't see it - rising over Sears.

Camera time.

Heading for the roof, I looked out another window and saw the moon dawdling near the First Presbyterian Church's weathervane.

The fog was interesting, as it put the trees in succeedingly-faint perspective. In one area, a blotch of bright red popped out - it was the "Learn To Skate At The Ice House" sign that's always on. Behind it to the right was the smokestack in Bogota.
