Some noise woke me up at the ungodly hour of 6am today (I got to bed at 2) - the sun wasn't even up yet.
When I couldn't get back to sleep, I decided to hit the roof and see what the 90º light of sunrise did for the area photographically.
I got the usual reflections off the high-rises (first two shots below), but at one point, a gaggle suddenly flew by west of me and I got to take good advantage of the low sun.
It made getting up early almost worthwhile.
