HACKENSACK — Sen. Barbara Buono was in Hackensack Wednesday filming a commercial.Buono and a film crew showed up at Clavel's Unisex salon on Fair Street before noon and shot for about two hours.
Clavel Frias, the owner of the salon, confirmed that they were filming a commercial. The salon has been open 14 years.
The commercial would be the first of the campaign for Buono, the presumptive Democratic nominee for governor.
On Tuesday, Buono's campaign sent an email to supporters asking for contributions to pay for a response to a TV ad from Gov. Chris Christie that said Buono had voted for 154 tax and fee increases.
