I just happened to look out my window yesterday and saw an unusual mix of police vehicles going by on State St - Sheriff, County, Northvale, Hackensack (there may have been others). Also in the mix were runners and bicyclists, who I think were all cops. One of the runners held a torch.
I knew I had seen this scene before, but didn't recall what it was about until I saw today's Record, which showed a similar scene in Lodi.
These NJ Special Olympics Torch Runs occurred all over the state yesterday..
