I live in a schoolbus
« on: February 04, 2013, 04:30:46 PM »
I saw this schoolbus taking up 5 spaces in the municipal lot behind my building, so I took a picture for no particular reason.

When I blew it up, I could see a possibly-interesting reflection in the windshield, so I brightened it up and........voila!...........a warped view of my building in the front seat.

(We all live in a yellow.................)

If the FBI hasn't already taken you out in cuffs, I would be careful about mentioning blowing up school buses.

Ya gotta work on that reading comprehension, Homer.

If I blew up the schoolbus, the building inside it would be destroyed with me in it.   ;D

Not necessarily. You could have set your camera on a tripod in your window with a remote wireless shutter release and whammo you are in competition for the Record picture of the year. There are no exclusions in the entry rules for prisoners in Federal prisons.

Nice try, but even if Canon made a remote wireless shutter release for my point-and-shoot - which they don't - that might let me get out of the building before it was destroyed when the bus blew up, but since the building's inside the bus, the camera would be destroyed as well.

And no - Canon doesn't allow this model to WiFi the image to another location in the instant before the collapse, so you can stop baking me a cake with a file in it.

Check your insurance policy to see if you are covered for the loss of your Canon so that you can take the proceeds from the insurance and trade up to a Nikon which has a wireless shutter release  so that you won't have to worry about getting out of the building. Makes a lot of sense.

Makes zero sense.

The loss of my Canon would mean that I've already lost my building, so why would I now worry about getting out of a building that no longer exists?
