Mystery fireworks
« on: June 11, 2013, 08:42:06 PM »
Two nights ago, I could see a fireworks display that - from here - looked like it was coming from New Milford.

I called the NMPD. "Not us. Try FDU."

FDU: "Not us. "Maybe Riverside Square."

Me: "Why? And on a Sunday?"

FDU: "I guess not."

Anyone know?

I guess that we can eliminate Druids worshiping around an ancient oak tree in Teaneck.

Funny you should say that.

I was just finishing up my HDR of the tree's last night when I first saw the fireworks in the distance, so I beat it out of there to go shoot them from my roof.

Then another thought struck me.Maybe it was a celebration for the opening of The Anderson Street Station. Took a walk over there yesterday. Nope. Looks like that job has been abandoned.
