H.S. Boys Soccer: Hackensack's Randy Gordon a star after amazing goal
Thursday, September 12, 2013
The Record

North Jersey high school athletes are taking over the Top 10 plays on ESPN’s "SportsCenter."

Exactly two weeks after Paramus Catholic running back Jabrill Peppers was the No. 1 play on the nightly highlight reel, Hackensack senior boys soccer player Randy Gordon earned the No. 2 spot Tuesday night.

Gordon had the highlight for his amazing flip throw-in and ensuing own goal that was tapped in by the goalie in the Comets’ game against Ramapo. The Green Raiders won, 2-1, but Gordon had a hand in perhaps the goal of the year and a spot on TV.
