Background Information:
Users with older websites, or servers that had old_passwords enabled in MySQL, still use an outdated style of password hash. MySQL started using a new, more complex version of password encryption beginning with version 4.1. For increased security, MySQL 5.6 (and MariaDB 10.1) now strictly requires storing passwords using the stronger hash method. Because of this newly enforced MySQL requirement, all users with database passwords stored in the outdated format will need to update their stored passwords.
Maintenance Action:
We will be disabling support for old_passwords on your server one week from today. In order to avoid possible service interruptions, please ensure all database user passwords are updated before this is done.

Action already taken (on our end):
In an effort to ease our clients into this transition, we went through all of our shared servers and automatically updated the hashes for all passwords we could find within a configuration file. If you have a WordPress site, any other CMS, or even a hand coded site, it is possible that we were able locate a working password and automatically store it in the new style of hash. However, certain users may still need to manually update their passwords. For each client, we have generated a list of database users we were not able to update in the form of a text file. If applicable, this file was placed in the cPanel home directory.

If you have one of these files in your cPanel home directory, you will need to update the password(s) for each listed database user.
