Photostitch of the Hackensack skyline
« on: June 19, 2014, 02:45:29 PM »
I've been trying for quite a while to get a decent-looking photostitch of the Hackensack skyline from Essex St to Passaic St (and then make a left to Garret Mountain in Paterson). My little camera and its pedestrian program limit what I can do, but that makes me try harder.

Any time you involve more than a couple of images, the stitch/glitch factor shoots up. Taking hand-held images and guessing if the next shot will line up with the previous one so that the stitch is smooth doesn't help.

This stitch uses 12 images. There are several minor glitches, but only one that really sticks out to me and that happened because I guessed really badly on the fifth shot. But overall, this is probably the best skyline stitch I've gotten so far.
