If you heard fireworks last night, it was the Fourth of July's last gasp.
Most local towns that had to postpone their fireworks rescheduled them for the following week. Saddle Brook waited 3 weeks. That's not so bad...........in 2001, Hackensack's didn't go off until August 14.
SB's fireworks are shot off from just beyond the Garden State Parkway and the Saddle River - about 3.5 miles away.
The first shot gives some perspective: the foreground shows the Passaic St/Linden St area in Hackensack with the Saddle Brook fireworks in the background. The rest are Zoom City - one of my favorite places.
