While I was watching the Jets on TV crumbling in Green Bay, my living room suddenly lit up brightly in a way I've never seen before.
The Modern - that new glass tower in Fort Lee - was reflecting the sun full force. That means this will now be a bi-annual event, with the other one occurring somewhere around the beginning of March.
There will be two of these towers eventually - double the brightness. Thankfully, the short side of the long rectangular building faces west. If both towers' wide sides faced west, I'd be sunburned in my living room (and probably blind).
But the solar fun didn't stop there. More photo goodies from the western sky awaited me a few minutes later on the roof (Part 2).
