If you watched Derek's final Yankee Stadium game last Thursday, you may recall the announcers talking about how the weather during the day made them wonder if the game would be played that evening at the scheduled 7:05 start.
The weather, however, cooperated and cleared up just in time. They showed a rainbow that popped up beyond right field at about 6:45 - a great omen, it turned out, for what was to come.
Below is that rainbow, as seen from my living room - a great start to an incredible finale.
