Sunday morning air traffic over Hackensack area
« on: October 19, 2014, 04:33:21 PM »
It was a beautiful morning 3 weeks ago - just right for reading the Sunday paper out on the roof, but I didn't get much reading done during the 20-minute period that these interruptions occurred.

Above the Prospect Ave high-rises, a hawk chased prey in one direction while a small plane dragged  an SNY banner in the other (the Jets were playing at Metlife 2 hours later).

7 minutes later, the hawk was back. He was either a fast eater or a lousy hunter.

5 minutes after THAT, the SNY plane banner appears to have a near-miss with another plane's banner near Metlife while a third plane lands at Teterboro.

8 minutes later, this crew flew overhead.
