Rain check
« on: June 02, 2015, 05:33:40 PM »
With the exception of the last photo (June 1), these were taken on Sunday, May 31.

When the sky started looking nasty and the rain began, I did a quick, open-window photo stitch (4 photos). There's one stitch glitch, but it's not bad enough to dump it.

About 25 minutes later (and facing the opposite direction), I saw this big, ugly cloud (looks like a cumulus pig) racing north (to the right). If you look closely on the left third of the first image, you can see Garret Mountain (Paterson) in the distance. Look at it again - taken 25 seconds later - in the second image to see how much the cloud moved. Porky was haulin' ass.

The next two shots show the explosive force of raindrops.............well, sorta.

The June 1 photo was taken in the Rite-Aid Parking lot on Anderson St, trackside.
