The Shadow of God over Anderson St
« on: December 12, 2009, 09:16:32 PM »
Earlier this week, I showed you traffic lights against the Holman's side wall.

Today, I took a cellphone shot from my living room of some shadows there. An obvious tree is on the right and the other one is from the First Presbyterian Church's steeple on the corner of Passaic and Union streets - a full 2 blocks away diagonally.

Maybe it's gonna oversee the Anderson St repairs.

You refer to the Shadow of God over Anderson Street. Might it be more appropriate to relate your photo to the title of the broadway comedy "God of Carnage"?

Only if a lot of cars fell into the original sinkhole could it be labeled "God of CARnage".

Alas, turn back your memory to many long sheet piles ago when you held the brick in your hand: You can sponsor a petition tho the Mayor and Council seeking to change the name of Anderson Street to the Yellow Brick Road.

I never held the brick in my HAND.......ewww! I used 2 fingertips for the least amount of time possible.

YELLOW brick road? Considering what type of pipe that broke and your own reference to ancient White Manna sliders, I don't think yellow would my first choice of color description. My number one choice would be number two...........kinda like this:

Since all bricks were WAY underground, I don't think referring to the road as ANY color brick would work, so I must bid this topic adieu:

I'll let one of the road workers add the finishing touch:
