johnny g:
Hi gang, this was a little before my time I'm guessing...anyone remember a little place behind Solari's (or somewhere in that area) named Hook Fin, or something to that effect?

BLeafe:
If you go to the bottom of this page - http://www.city-data.com/forum/new-jersey/630814-jersey-back-day-5.html - you can find a post by "Bergen County Johnny" (any relation?) that mentions the Huck Finn in Hackensack.

johnny g:
Thanks Bob, I just saw it...and no relation to me haha
My future father in law worked there prior to opening La Bella Napoli pizza on Essex St, we were talking about it yesterday but I didn't remember it

Top of the Hill:
I thought Huck Finn was across the street from the Heritage Diner on River Street. Might have eventually become a Roy Rogers? I Google mapped where I thought it was and it looks like the building still exists. Looks like it might have been converted to a bank at one time and now is available. The building is shaped as I recall, you enter in the center of the building and then there was a dining area on each side. Each end of the building was canter levered forward. I believe Shea Chevrolet was on the next block down, on the street behind it.
