Hands Across America in Hackensack 1986
« on: March 04, 2020, 03:32:23 PM »
Does anyone know the route this national hand-holding event took through Hackensack?

I know it was on Main St in Bogota, so did it cross the Midtown Bridge? I shot it looking east at Teaneck Rd and DeGraw Ave in Teaneck because the road slopes down toward the Glenpointe Hotel and that showed a few hundred people in the shot. I was living in Teaneck at the time, so I have no idea where it was in Hackensack.

Did anyone here participate? Any pictures?

My family did participate.  If I remember correctly, we assembled on Main St. north of the Courthouse.  No pictures.
