I can see my building in that first picture.

Since this is my first day as a member, I don't know if this is considered spam or not - I'm sure Editor will delete this if it is - but my first contact from him was a result of an image of mine that was published in The County Seat showing the YMCA and a rainbow landing on St. Joseph's Church in Bogota.

Click here to see my pictures.  Click "Hackensack, NJ" on the left and you'll see 90 pictures of Hackensack, including the rainbow over the YMCA.

You might also find a band or two (thousand) on the site, including Hackensack's two big rock stars - originally known as Joe Linquito and Leslie Weinstein - Joe Lynn Turner and Leslie West.

It's great to see that "fried leafe", otherwise known as Bob Leafe, is now contributing his stuff to this website.

Bob, are you still getting fried by the Nextel antenna system on your roof at Union Street, or have you moved out of the penthouse into some other location?

<< "fried leafe" >>

Thank you for at least supplying the context - otherwise, it would make me seem to be some sort of burnout.

Yeah, my food and I are still getting cooked by Nextel. The state never bothered fixing the error they admitted making (they thought my rooftop apartment was an empty elevator room and told the FCC that there were "no adverse effects"!).

Frying for my art, I guess, (and taking a LOT fewer pictures from my roof).

I saw that you had some great concert photos of Leslie West on your site, but do you have any pictures from when he was living in Hackensack as Leslie Weinstein?  I understand he still lives somewhere in New Jersey.  I met him once at a Crate Amps product demonstration he did at Robbie's Music with some members of Twisted Sister.  I would love to see some younger pictures of him; does anyone know if they exist in the HHS yearbook, for example?  Thanks!

I wish.

Sorry.
