New City Manager

"Schools Superintendent Joseph Montesano called Capone "a great member of our staff" who left the district in 2002 after 35 years. He served as business administrator before his nine-year tenure as assistant superintendent."

Why does my wallet seem lighter as I read this?  I guess we should get used to having our taxes raised every year.

I know its too early to tell, but does anyone recall how this guy operates? Is he a "YES Man"? Will he help move the city into the 21st Century? The coziness with the BOE scares me.  ???

coziness, you have got to be kidding. he is a hand picked yes man.the boe is just an un-official extension
of the city council.do you think this mayor & council
is going to hire anyone who is not under complete and
total control ? sit back & watch, business as usual.

tuscany, it seems that you feel very comfortable to write what you wish about whom you wish under the cover of your screename, but when I wrote you a personal email to discuss several of these issues further in the beginning of the week, I haven't heard back from you- although I've seen that you've found the time to post several more messages here.  It seems that when given the opportunity to engage in a proactive adult discussion with someone who may even agree with some of your points, you'd instead much rather spew your discontent anonymously.  If we're living in the adult world, and reading and writing posts about adult subjects, then let's try to behave like adults.

Thank you, Beatrice P.!!! I agree with you totally about Tuscany. I also sent her a personal email, but lucky me.... she answered mine!
