For the past 24 years, the Annie E. Casey Foundation has used a series of 16 indicators to rank the well-being of children in all 50 U.S. states. New Jersey ranks 5th in the Nation.
For economic well-being, NJ ranked 18th.
For education, NJ ranked 2nd.
For health, NJ ranked 13th.
For family and community, NJ ranked 9th.
