Title: From Simselfies to White Manna
Post by: BLeafe on August 10, 2015, 03:35:46 PM
On Saturday, I wanted an up-close look at two things I saw from home: the sign over Geri's Luncheonette (I'll never think of it as a "Deli") and big concrete pipes over by the river.

The Simple Mobile sign says to take more simselfies nationwide (first picture). I know that this company sells pre-paid SIM cards for phones, but what the sign shows is not a simselfie (one of which is shown in the second picture).

If The Sims were real, they'd sue - plain and Simple.

I'm guessing that the pipes - which have been there a couple of weeks - mean more River St. closures.

It was now 6:15pm and I happened to look next door and saw something I had never seen before: the White Manna had empty seats! At dinnertime!

The rookie ran in and grabbed one..................it took me long enough to finally eat there.

I hope I see that again. So does the Hackensack resident who reviewed the place and renamed the county (last image).

That's crazy for WM to be EMPTY...everytime I've gone in there it's packed in like sardines (like an anxiety attack waiting to happen) hahaha

Oh, it wasn't EMPTY - there were maybe two empty stools for a minute or two, but I had never seen empty spaces from the outside at dinnertime before.

It was always solid people and was again soon after I grabbed a seat.
