While sitting at my computer, I heard this bird's distinctive call from 10' away on my living room air conditioner. Unlike the mockingbird's song, this one gets tedious after a very short while.
I went out on the roof and took a picture. A few days later, I heard the call again, but not as pronounced. Sure enough, there was one above me on top of a chimney (second and third shot).
