This is a great overhead shot of the Susquehanna RR tracks AND the Hudson River Line trolley tracks right next to each other as they cross the Hackensack River.
Why do the trolley tracks still cross the water when they're non-existent on land? It's been 78 years since they were last used.

the railroad was two tracks until the 1980s when they ripped out the southernmost track and moved the railbed to the center thru Hackensack

Is that shot from the route 46 overpass?
-
Only if the overpass was equipped with a camera and was flying directly overhead. ;)

Do you know of any maps/photos that would show all 3 sets of tracks over the river?
I don't think we have anything posted here that shows all that.
