I hate generic postcards that just slap on lots of town names to the same image from who-knows-where. They may give out-of-area people a serene feeling about Hackensack, but we know better.  ::)

Hate to tell you; but, these are actual scenes from Hackensack!

Card#1 - Prospect Avenue looking west from the City Hall parking lot before the hi rises were built.

Card #2 - Essex Street looking west at the bend across from where Rocciola's funeral home was located.

Card #3 - River Street under the railroad trestle after a heavy rain.

Card #4 - The Foschini Park walkway.

I think the Fourth picture is the MIDDLE of Foschini Park, when there is a full moon and a light east wind water tends to accumulate.
