This morning, from my apartment, I saw 4 swans in the Hackensack River (at low tide) at the northern tip of Foschini Park.
In my 21 years here, I've seen egrets, ducks, hawks, and too many geese there, but never swans.
Is this an unusual sighting?

Not really.
In the past I have seen seven swans a singing; six geese a laying and a partridge in a pear tree.

On Friday night at 11 pm I saw a bunny rabbit on the Central Avenue side lawn of The Blair House. Just sitting. When I got closer it hopped alittle farther away from the sidewalk but not under any ground cover. Just hiding in plain sight.

Cute.

I saw the bunny tonight again. Same time. Same spot. I am going to let those Blair House people know and maybe they will give it some carrots.

And still no picture..............you're 0-for-2.

0-for-3. Saw bunny again. Same time. Same spot. Feels like we are dating now. Zoomed in for pic but girl walking in front of me must have stomped too hard on the sidewalk and bunny booked. boo hoo. bringing carrots to work tomorrow.
If 2 year construction starts on 24-story building on Prospect/Summit does that mean no bunny just swarms of smaller creatures with long tails looking for cheese.

If they're looking to swap their long tales for cheesy stories, they just struck paydirt.
