Bunch of people in the Fairmount section went out to sing The Gambler in honor of Kenny Rogers who died today.  Organized on the spur of the moment via Facebook.  I've heard of people leaving birthday wishes in chalk on the sidewalk.

We need more ideas like this. I wonder what can safely be done with lasers, balloons, drones,- anything to keep people looking up.

If the new Runway approach is approved, Hackensack residents will experience less airport noise. The new approach will allow arriving flights to track more or less over Route 17, west of most residents.
