Title: Black Sky, Bright Sunlight

A giant spaceship hovering overhead?

In the first picture, you can see the Hackensack River to the left of center and midtown Manhattan on the far right horizon.

The next two pictures are even weirder: right in the middle of all this darkness, the sun popped out for a minute or so.

Where was Tom Cruise when we needed him?!?!?
Last time I saw clouds like those was in the re-make of War Of The Worlds when ol' Tom was living under the Bayonne Bridge and managed to save the world.
