If a referendum on the $165.1 million building and renovation plan for Hackensack schools is held on Jan. 22, 2019, which of you will vote "yes" and which will vote "no"? My mind is already made up: I'm voting "no."

There is some talk in Hackensack that the plaques weren't stolen at all, but removed for safekeeping.... The suggestion is the veterans "forgot" this, and told police they were stolen after the vandalism was discovered.

No explosives or huge wrecking balls will be used; 150 River Street and other buildings will be taken down with large mechanical claws, and pulverized to be used as fill to raise site 3 feet.
