BLeafe- This is a familiar pic!  I was sent to a 'day school' back in the '50s for a while  when my Mom went to work.  It was located at the corner of Prospect Ave. and Central Ave. (not sure which direction, but I think it was on the SE corner).  It was owned by a woman who lived up Central Ave. in a Tudor-style house  in Maywood.  Anyway, the backyard/playgound backed on to the tracks, and when we would hear a train we would all rush to the fence back there to see it.  The station was just down the tracks across from us.

I looked on Google Earth at the site, and it now seems to be a 3 story apartment complex.
