Description:

This is a vintage heavy brass printing press plate piece that has the name of the newspaper on it. The newspaper is the Bergen Evening Record out of Hackensack, New Jersey. This paper was published from 1922-1960. This brass plate has nice fancy letters and would make a neat collectible or decorative paperweight. It's in great shape for its' age. Measures 10 and 1/4" long by 1 and 1/8" tall. It's about 1/4 of an inch thick.

It's worth $1.85 a pound at most local metal recycling shops. That's about all that artifact is worth, that newspaper. SCRAP METAL.
