BERGEN COUNTY BUS RAPID TRANSIT
IMPLEMENTATION STUDY
The Bergen County Department of Planning & Economic Development and NJ TRANSIT have jointly initiated the Bergen County Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Implementation Study to evaluate how BRT can improve the quality and attractiveness of bus service within Bergen County.
The Bergen County BRT Implementation Study is considering the best routes and improvements for the implementation of a Bus Rapid Transit system in Bergen County, while building upon the current transit system and resources. The meeting will present the analysis done to date and the preferred routes for BRT implementation within Bergen County that have resulted from this analysis, including operating plans and ridership modeling.
