Auction has already ended, but you weren't going to buy it anyway, so it's cool.

Seller's description:

I have up for auction a record (78) on the black and gold Victor batwing label from the earlier 1920s. It is #19318 by The Benson Orchestra of Chicago with "Doodle-Doo-Doo"-Fox Trot and "Back In Hackensack New Jersey"-Fox Trot. The record is in very good/plus condition, not overly worn and scuffs and scratches are light and mainly surface variety, none deep.  Labels and surfaces still fairly clean and shiny.

Too bad the seller only shows the flip side.

I posted a card from this place 8 months ago that featured 5 of their cars. THIS card shows one of those cars. The flip side shows that a 24-hour chauffeur service has been added.

After this auction's 2 pictures, you'll see the previous 2 from last August that I've included for comparative purposes.

Seller's description:

Vintage Hackensack Area America on Wheels Patch-NJ

This vintage  patch is unused and in good condition with some glue spots on back where it was put in a scrap book.  Measures approx. 3 3/4 inches.

Apparently, the seller is not familiar with the word "Arena".

It looks like the old Sea Scouts barge on acid.

Is that the school that is currently a parking lot across from Holy Trinity church.  I was unaware that it was a high school.

That's the one. It was Holy Trinity School and a high school. I attended HTS there from grades 1-4 and then the new school opened in 1957.

It must not have been much of a high school when I was there. I don't remember anything about that aspect of the building.

Seller's description:

The Anderson Street Bridge over the Hackensack River is seen from the Hackensack side looking North.  You can see the old steel bridge and the Sea Scout Barge that stood near the Esso Station as you entered Teaneck.

Finally! A shot of the decrepit Sea Scouts' barge! I was beginning to think none existed. That thing was there for YEARS.

Seller's description:

Here we have a 5" X 7" photograph by an unidentified photographer, one of several we have acquired. We see a delivery truck, not sure of the make, newly built for The American Laundry of Hackensack, New Jersey. As you can see there is a plaque stating, "Built" by John Van Den Berg & Sons of Hawthorne, New Jersey. We have found information indicating that Van Den Berg worked in Hawthorne in the late 1920s.

This photograph has nice detail and decent contrast but suffers from some physical damage. It is missing a 1 1/4" by 3/8" piece from the lower right edge, a small bit of the upper edge and has several emulsion cracks.

For some reason, "Church St" is not ringing any bells (pun intended) with me. Is it the southernmost block of Moore St?

Seller can't spell the school name.

Seller's description:

This is a Browson High School yearbook titled Trinitarian from 1951. The school is located in Hackensack, New Jersey. There are great pictures of the class, activities, clubs & organizations and this yearbook would be a great addition to any collection! There are also some advertisements in the back of the yearbook. This yearbook is in overall good to very good condition showing some signs of wear due to age, including some wear and discoloration to the outer covers; also there is a small stain along the right hand edge (this stain does not alter or effect any of the class portraits.

I just like the pictures and ads.

In the next-to-last picture, there's an ad for Edward A. Purcell & Co. His son, Edward Purcell, was in my class in Holy Trinity School.

Egad! Monsignor Burke! I remember him.
