Title: Early 50s photo: Universal Food Market + delivery van, 146 Main St
Post by: BLeafe on December 13, 2011, 01:05:47 AM
I found this photo in an eBay auction of 700+ pictures from an Englewood family from the 30s to the 50s. I just listed the auction on the Bergen County Historical Society site.

The address would place it a couple of doors south of Lowits.

The only supposed online references to this place that I could find had something to do with a Ukrainian publication, but when I clicked on the links, I couldn't find anything.

Rainbow Castle Preschool now:

(This was a computerized concept picture for their awning grant application, - that's why it looks weird.  You can see the window configuration is the same in both pictures.)
