What confuses me about this house photo is the absence of the large old house currently at the SW corner of Essex & Fair, the house that used to house the Earthentics native american store. That house is way older than 1911.
Does anyone have an old map showing where the Fair Mansion stood. I had thought it was torn down to build Fair Street, but maybe not exactly ?
