Title: Fighter jets over Hackensack this afternoon

If you didn't see them, you probably heard four overly-loud, southbound aircraft - separated by less than a minute apiece - zooming over Hackensack between 4:40 and 4:45 this afternoon.

I managed to get ONE crummy shot of the last one through a closed window (click to enlarge).

Does anyone have any idea why they were here?

Looks like a Navy F-14 tomcat.

I feel the need for speed.  8)

You're kidding, right?

How exactly would someone make an arrangement with the military to do a flyover at the END of a game? What would be the purpose of that?

BTW - the game ended much earlier.

It was Just a guess....I didn't see them but I heard them...they continued south down Hudson St.,Towards  Metlife Stadim
