Book has a flocking on paper type cover.  Appears complete but binding is rough and many pages taped in.

Hand set in Caslon type made by the American Type founders designed by Mr Caslon
Illustrated by wood engravings all but four illustrations excepting the half tones. are printed from wood engravings especially executed for this particular book



DO check out that link in the description................very interesting! Mr. Koehler lived on Clinton Pl, was active in Hackensack government, and was the first Hackensack Riverkeeper.

The first Hackensack Riverkeeper ????  I thought that organization started in the 1990's.  I would love to know more about any predecessor organization, and if they did the same type of things.

Also, it would be great if this history book could be scanned and made into an online resource that can be downloaded with a click. Certainly, I would love to read this one
