Essentially, the company that now owns Sears' assets wants to do as it pleases with this property and Hackensack wants to preserve the iconic building.

I can't imagine Hackensack without this 90-year-old landmark.

HACKENSACK — The City Council last week took the initial step to move forward with a 130-unit, six-story luxury rental complex for the site of Bruce the Bed King, a shuttered longtime fixture on Main Street, and several neighboring storefronts.

The site spans the block of Main Street from Maple Avenue to Clinton Place and sits across the street from the closed Sears building.

Kind of a large boo-boo on the front page of today's sport's section:

Last April, the Jets traded quarterback Sam Darnold. A few weeks later, they selected quarterback Zach Wilson with the #2 overall draft pick.

This article was about Wilson's best plays so far this season, which ends for the Jets today.

The first sentence tells you what the play was about. The last sentence tells you that the QB who is no longer with the team made the play.
