Description:

REEL TO REEL, 7 1/2 IPS. BILL EVANS TRIO - "HACKENSACK, NJ 1971," WITH THE TEST TONE PATTERN LEVEL INTRO & BAND INTRO! "How My Heart Sings,My Romance,Nardis,Someday My Prince Will Come,Waltz For Debby," & Others!

I found a site that listed all of Bill's recordings, but this wasn't on it, so maybe it's a boot. Must be a good one, because the bidding is up to $50 with less than a day left.

The site invited questions, so I asked about this, but got no answer. If I get one, I'll post it.

A reply!

"I know this has not been released anywhere. It is obvious bootleg recording, but I cannot recall hearing about any jazz clubs in Hackensack at that time. The HACKENSACK JAZZ CLUB opened there some years later, but not until about 1974. Any further info you find would be appreciated."
