Title: Kipp's Bend at low tide: a 6-photo stitch
Post by: BLeafe on April 20, 2016, 04:44:07 PM
This was taken last Sunday afternoon from Teaneck. The northeastern point of Foschini Park is dead center where the two tallest trees are.

For those who are not familiar with Kipp's Bend: the water under the Anderson St Bridge runs north and south and when it gets down to Passaic St near White Manna, it takes a left and heads east - that's the distant river area you see on the right under the high-rises. It then bends around Foschini Park (center) and continues south toward the Midtown and Court St bridges (left).

This is a pretty big file: 6865px by 1000px, so after you click to enlarge, you'll have a lot of scrolling to the right to do.

Stitching 6 photos - especially hand-held ones that have to line up - isn't easy. This one has some imperfections, but they're not too bad.

The water in the Anderson Street Splash Park looks somewhat healthier.
