I saw this little guy on my roof on Sunday. It's the only time I ever saw a kestrel on my building. I did see one once on the First Presbyterian Church's steeple (below link).
Found online: North America’s littlest falcon, the American Kestrel packs a predator’s fierce intensity into its small body. It's one of the most colorful of all raptors.
