Title: from today's The Record: Main St Hackensack in 1942

This is at the top of page A-2 in today's paper. The below two pieces run side-by-side, but I stacked them so I could post them bigger.

It didn't look much different in the mid-1970's, except the trolley tracks (abandoned before 1942) were gone, the street was asphalt, and the Record sign was gone.  The Fox and Oritani were still there and still in business.
