Hackensack History / Re: Oritani Theater
« on: July 24, 2017, 07:31:20 AM »
Great memories of Friday and Saturday nights (uptown) hanging around by the theatres and the library. Anyone remember the name of the pizza place next to the Oritani?

On Mt Vernon there's a place called Luigi's that has that cool old neon sign. Looks like an old place, anyone ever been there?

Tracks in background, must be Railroad Ave
Never saw the first one...nice little sidekick now

It's funny, when I was 18-19 years old and trying to establish credit the Sears credit card was super hard to it was some secret society where no one without excellent credit could be a part of.

The age old fix..   8)

I never understood those buttons anyway, I remember pushing them as a kid, and nothing happened until the light was ready to change on it's own timer...

Funny, I was in WM yesterday for lunch right about 12 noon....not too crowded, was able to sit at the counter. There was a couple in there with an elderly man, who they told the workers there was in his 70's and hadn't been there to WM in about 30 years

That's awesome....but sad how they just put a sign up with the existing one there, someone tried to make a go selling seafood
