Hackensack Discussion / New Locations for Girl Scouts
« on: October 12, 2011, 12:35:36 PM »
Hello,
Does anyone have any advice/suggestions on locations that may be willing to let Girl Scout Troops meet in Hackensack?  We currently have troops set up in 4 Baptist Churches and the Civic Center on State Street but are looking to expand.  We have reached out to the Schools several times but haven't had any luck getting troops started there.

According to last year's demographics there are 3,226 girls in Hackensack that are of Girl Scouting age, but only 265 were actually registered.  This means we're only serving a little more than 8% of the Girls in our community.

If you or someone you know is interested in starting a troop or if you know of a location that is willing to let a troop meet there please let us know.

Thank You
