I didn't remember Morris St, at that time I was a youngin who never ventured north of Kansas St...I do remember going up Main St with my father and thinking I was in NYC though. Once I started high school in 1981 taking the 165 all the way up Main to Packards felt like a cross country journey to me

Thanks Homer...My girlfriend's grandfather was part owner of the club, and  her family would have parties there...but she couldn't remember the location. I know on Vreeland there is an Islamic center now...wondering if that was the second location...

There's a pizza place on Hudson St right next to the firehouse across from Hackensack Pastry shop that always changed hands. Does anyone know what some of the names were back in the late 70's/early 80's?
After my paper route sometimes I'd go in there for a slice..

I remember back in the 80's there was a studio way up on Main St, a few doors south of Lido's...I don't recall the name though. Hopefully this new one does well, there seems to be a lot less REAL recording studios nowadays since everything is done on laptops in bedroom with autotune. There's nothing like a nice live room to get a big drum sound  8)

Ahhh yes, the glass shop was on the northeast corner....maybe J & B Glass? When I worked at Feldner Cadillac we would take the cars there for windshield replacements
