Hackensack Discussion / Attention HPD: Stupid parking begets stupid driving
« Last post by BLeafe on July 23, 2018, 03:35:43 PM »
I saw the W.B. Mason truck blocking Ward St and noticed that there was no one in the driver's seat and took a picture. No sooner had I done that when an even bigger truck - without honking and waiting to see if the driver came out of the building - just drove right onto the sidewalk and around W.B.'s right side. He was more on the sidewalk than he was on the road and was still on the sidewalk as he passed the entrance to residential 22 Ward.

As you can see in the last picture, there was plenty of room to park in the parking lot of the building to which W.B. was delivering, so all this could have been avoided if he made the effort to park lawfully.

If these "driving" exhibitions annoy anyone in the HPD, I can't give you W.B.'s plate number because ANOTHER unlawfully-parked vehicle blocks it, but the delivery occurred at 3:03pm on July 20. Sidewalk Sam's truck, however, has lots of info on it.

I saw this guy walk across the E lot, then walk on a sidewalk and finally cross the street - all with his left index finger firmly implanted in his left ear.

No press releases were handed out, so I can't tell you why.

From my apartment, I saw this in the parking lot behind my building yesterday. It was about a half-block away and 7 floors down, so the pix are small.

From what I could tell, a fish crow got a letter, couldn't open it and a sharper-beaked friend stepped/flew in to help.

Normal neighborhood stuff................

The core message that parents are the anti-drug is perfectly logical to anyone who is, or has been, a parent to a teenager.

Bob + Victor = Eric  (philosophically speaking, of course)

Agreed?
