Loved both of those theatres...such a shame they couldn't keep them going. Been well over 20 years now that they've been closed too, time flies

Another great find. Thanks Bob.

It's too bad that the seller didn't provide larger images. It would be nice to be able to read everything on the Fox marquee. Maybe Jimi Hendrix is listed on it.
Perhaps someone here will buy it and scan it large for our database.

Bob, i bought a copy of each Theater. I spent many afternoons in each of those theaters. I've had my own architectural practice for years, so I'll hang these up with lots of other drawings I've collected. Once I have them, I can scan & send to you, just send me you e-mail address Jim

Bob, I did get the two sketches of the theaters. The Fox Marquee 1top line: The Lost Squardron with Richard Dix middle line: Next week Hotel Continental bottom line: Comedy-Music-Fox News-Music Both of these movies were 1932, the same year the Fox opened
The Oritani drawing does not have it's marquee, it must have been added to the building at a later date.

bottom line: Comedy-Music-Fox News-Music
(There's a joke in there somewhere. ;D )
Kidding aside..............looking forward to seeing the sketches. They sound really interesting.
