This looks like Homer's handiwork (or footwork).
-
Not Ol' Homer's style. Saddles and bucks back in yesteryear.
Bring them up to Joey on Anderson Street and tell him you need soles and heels on them. Better still head out to Newark Airport and see how quickly ( if at all ) you clear through TSA security screening trying to board an international flight.
Did you have pegged pants to match those hoofs?
-
I thought maybe they went well with your old elephant bells.
The box says "Hardy Shoes". Anyone know if they had a store anywhere around here?
Sounds like a 70s Bergen Mall place.
-
Sandals went better with the bells.
-
Disco Stu called. He wants his shoes back.

That proves conclusively that they were Bob's shoes. I wore sandals.

Objection, your honor.......................unsubstantiated hearsay!
Where is the proof that you were a sandal-wearer?
I, however, offer definitive proof (and historic preservation) of my sandals on http://bobleafe.com/ under "Woodstock I" (see below).
And somewhere, there's a picture of me standing on second base in the mid-70s wearing a "Disco Sucks" t-shirt when I played for the Aquarian Weekly softball team (anybody remember THAT rag?).
BTW - Disco Stu was not to be found anywhere near either location.

The court rules in favor of the defendant. Nobody who wore those sandals at Woodstock and later wore a disco sucks Tshirt would ever be seen in those "shoes" found in his closet.
Ol' Homer couldn't make Woodstock; but, was in Newport when Dylan made the changeover from acoustic. The sandals worn for this event are probably buried well under the mounds of garbage which frame the Turnpike north of the Pulaski Skyway. R.I.P.
