I use to live in Hackensack for 43 years since 1955 till 1997,i still visit from California,but my heart is still home in Hackensack.Growing up I went to Fairmount school than the middle school than HHS Class of 69.Working at Schneider's new cars on river st than Bergen County Sheriffs dept.Selling my wonderfull home on willow ave was the worst mistake I have made in my life.I loved Packards so much,shopping for food, the hot dogs,my hair cuts,things for home,and the xmas tree,also eating at Lido every week,the white mana, house of pizza,and as a kid Wolfs candy store,Welshs deli,and riding my bike in the fairmount sec.to stieb park.I,m going to be 62 in 2 days and my wish is to return home and live in my home town again.
